American participates in historic Swedish card

Press Release: This past Saturday saw the first boxing event in Sweden in thirty-seven years. One of the winners on the historic show was American heavyweight Joey Abell, who moved to 11-1 with 11 KOs as he stopped Ergrin Solmaz of Germany in two rounds in Gothenberg. Solmaz's corner threw in the towel after the end of the round. Abell will now get the chance to avenge the loss on his record, a stoppage at the hands of Arron Lyons last December 1st at The Legendary Blue Horizon. On Friday, February 9th, the question of “Can Lightning Strike Twice?” for Lyons will be asked at The Legendary Blue Horizon as he takes on Abell in a six round heavyweight rematch. The co-feature has a similar backdrop as Marty Lindquist will try to duplicate his October ten second destruction of Max Alexander of Camden, New Jersey in a scheduled eight round light-heavyweight bout. The undercard will feature Blue Horizon crowd favorites, Elad Shmouel, Gee Culmer and Lenny DeVictoria. Tickets can be purchased by calling The Legendary Blue Horizon at 1-215-763-0500.
