Alvarez-Lemiuex in the works, Charlo-GGG ordered

As expected the WBC has allowed Saul "Canelo" Alvarez to make a voluntary defense of his championship. Boxing insiders have known that Alvarez would be facing former titlist David Lemiuex (also with Golden Boy Promotions)  in his next fight for quite some time and today's WBC ruling all but makes it official.

The WBC has also ordered interim champion Jermall Charlo to face former long time middleweight king Gennady Golovkin. While Charlo would love the fight and welcome it with open arms, it is extremely doubtful that GGG would risk the payday that comes with a third Canelo fight to fight Charlo. Rest assured the WeBendConstantly will be collecting its fees for the biggest fights possible, even if it has to create a championship in order to do so.
