Boxingtalk has been informed by Robert Allen that he will not be fighting Syd Vanderpool on Feb 4th as was scheduled. The three time middleweight title challenger had this to say, "I really don't know how to say this but I don't think I'm going to be able to make this fight for Feb 4th. I've been trying to work it out. I've been going through a custody battle for my eleven year old daughter who's mom passed last year. I've been going to court for the last eighteen months and I finally got awarded custody. Now I'm a single father.
