Alex Bunema to headline in Denver on November 19

Press Release: Promoter Ryan Madden of Lyon Sports Group, Inc. in conjunction with local promoter Aurelio Martinez will present a boxing show at National Western Complex, Expo Hall II in Denver on November 19, 2004 that will feature Alex Bunema defending a regional title against Alberto Mercedes and Denver's own junior welterweight Donald Camarena fighting for a youth title in the co-feature.

Bunema won the WBC Continental Americas title on November 14, 2003 when he defeated Anthony Shuler (14-1-1) by unanimous decision in Seattle. He's fought top caliber fighters like J.C. Candelo, Kassim Ouma, Bronco McKart and Jermain Taylor, and continues to work his way toward a world title shot.

Camarena, the pride of Colorado, has recently captured the WBC Intercontinental Mundo Hispano and the C.A.M. (Canadian-American-Mexican) belts. In his short 30-month professional career, Camarena has advanced from rookie to prospect to contender. Camarena is training hard in preparation for his first shot at a world title. He will be the co-main event on the card, fighting Marteze Logan of Tennessee.

Tickets are now on sale at $60 ringside, $40, $30 reserved seating, $25 general at all King Soopers and TicketsWest outlets. www.ticketswest.com
