Press Release: Upon hearing that IBF middleweight champion Arthur Abraham judged a German beauty contest last week, his rival Edison Miranda remarked, "I wish I could be judging beauty contests like Arthur Abraham, but fighters fight." Just like during their brutal meeting last September, when Abraham handed Miranda the first loss of his career despite fighting with a broken jaw for eight rounds, Abraham was quick to deliver the right answer. "I'm not surprised he´s not welcome at beauty contests. There's no reason for him to be there," the unbeaten champion (22-0, 17 KOs) stated after his morning practice session in Berlin´s Max-Schmeling-Gym. Miranda had also wondered about Abraham´s next opponent, which has yet to be named. "He should not be worried too much about my opponents but focus on himself," King Arthur added. "If I failed to beat someone who has his jaw broken twice, I would end my career and work as a janitor." Abraham, a huge fan favorite in Germany, will return to the ring at the end of April.
