Abraham to Miranda: I'll see you three times; the weigh-in, the fight and the hospital!

Press Release: The final press conference before the IBF middleweight title fight between champion Arthur Abraham and Edison Miranda came to an entertaining end. Although the two cannot converse directly with each other due to a language barrier, that did not prevent either one from getting their message across Before the obligatory posedown photo, Miranda gave Abraham the throat-slitting gesture to show he wants to give Abraham a beating. The world champion replied to the unkind gesture with two middle fingers directed at Miranda, the universal gesture of unkindness. Miranda promised a knockout, saying “I have a question: Where´s the belt anyway? It´s only two days for you to have it. Use the time and take a few photos with it. On Saturday the belt will belong to me and you´ll never see it again.” During the challenger´s ten-minute speech, Abraham  whispered into his manager´s ear, “Mr. Sauerland, the fight won´t last as long as he´s talking now.” When it was Abraham’s turn at the mic, he did not disappoint in this international battle of trash talking. “Fortunately there are just three meetings left for us – the weigh-in, the fight and afterwards I´ll visit you at the hospital one time.”
