Diaz scored a come-from-behind tenth round technical knockout of Jose Armando Santa Cruz this past Saturday night in Las Vegas to claim a WBC interim title at 135 pounds. Diaz will be honored at the scene of two of his biggest wins, over Jaime Rangel and Silverio Ortiz. Said Diaz, “The fans in Chicago have always been great to me and I’m thrilled to share this victory with them.
