Derek Chisora W12 Otto Walin...In his 49th pro fight, Derek Chisora found the fountain of youth, outboxing and punishing a younger and stronger opponent, Otto Wallin, over twelve rounds in Manchester England. It was an entertaining and emotional night for the 41 year-old Chisora, who has been written off many times. En route to a wide unanimous decision, Chisora knocked Wallin down twice. The first knockdown, in round nine, was one for the highlight reel as Wallin got caught with an overhand shot and took five steps back before falling down. The second knockdown cae just before the final bell. Wallin never showed any urgency to win, despite being implored to fight more aggressively by his trainer, former champion Joey Gamache. Chisora (36-13) gets extra credit for fighting through a bad cut that poured blood into his right eye. Official scores were 117-109, 116-110 and a way-to-close 114-112. Wallin's performance was very discouraging, and his record now stands at 27-3.
