2000 Olympian headlines San Miguel card

Press Release: At the San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino, about 70 minutes from Los Angeles, the fists will be flying on September 14, 2006 with live boxing. David Jackson, (8-1-0, 6 KOs), a 2000 U.S. Olympian who has not yet made a serious run as professional is in for an eight-round battle against Quandry 'Candy' Robertson, (14-9-0, 11 KOs) a fast-charging, hard-punching ring veteran. Even though the fearless Jackson often marches to a different beat, he is a gifted fighter with outstanding boxing skills, hand speed, and power.  The bigger Robertson has beaten some respected boxers including Armando Velardez (24-2) and Eduardo Sanchez. Also on the card is a six-round bantamweight battle between Heather Percival (8-3-0) and Sharon Gaines, (10-7). In addition, Tyron Patrick Harris (16-2-0, 13 KOs), also makes a return to the San Manuel Ring, facing off against Daniel Gonzalez (8-7-0, 4 KOs).
