105-pound championship changes hands

Florante Condes W12 Muhammad Rachman...  The Philippines has a new world champion as mandatory contender Florante Condes lifted the IBF mini-flyweight (105-pound) title from Muhammad Rachman via split decision in Jakarta, Indonesia. Condes, known as "The Little Pacquiao," knocked Rachman down in the third and tenth rounds. The scorecards went along partisan lines as Salven Lagumbay of the Philippines scoredit for his countrymant 114-112, Indonesia's Muhammad Rois saw it 117-113 for his homeboy Rachman while Thailand's Montol Suriyachand broke the tie in COndes' favor, 114-112. Condes is now 22-3-1 with 20 KOs. Rachman drops to 61-6-5 with 31 KOs and leaves Chris John as Indoensia's lome world champion. source: associated press
