"Desert Storm" Bradley to head Black History Month Parade

According to Alex Camponovo of Thompson Boxing Promotions, Palm Springs, California junior welterweight Timothy Ray Bradley Jr. has been chosen to serve as Grand Marshall of that city's annual Black History Month Parade this Saturday. Bradley, currently 11-0 with 6 KOs, will lead a procession of over 40 entities at 10:00 am., headed North on Palm Canyon Drive, in Downtown Palm Springs. After the parade, Bradley will be available to meet with fans at the Town Fair. Bradley is promoted by Thompson Boxing Promotions, one of the most active promotions in Southern California.   In other Thompson Boxing Promotions news, it was announced last Friday night that the company has signed  prospect Dominic Salcido to a promotional contract. Salcido, a quick handed lightweight with a 7-0 record, has worked with Emmanuel Steward in the past.
