First Fight Card on January 29 in Las Vegas, Second Fight Card Scheduled for March 26 in Laughlin
Rock & Sock Productions, promoters of “A Ring Of Their Own,” is announcing the lineup of bouts for their debut show on January 29 at Silverton Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The main event will feature Elena “Baby Doll” Reid, 15-1-5, 4 KOs, of Phoenix, Arizona, against Lakeysha Williams, 8-6-3, 1 KO, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in an eight round bantamweight fight. This is the rematch - Reid won a six round decision against Williams in their first fight. Reid is coming off a disputed draw for the world title against Regina Hamlich.
Bose Ijoala of Chicago, Illinois, a 2002 National Womens’ Golden Glove champion and 2003 U.S. National Womens’ champion, will make her pro debut against Swedish National champion Asa Sandell, 1-0, in a four round super middleweight bout.
Crowd favorite Shelley Burton, 4-1, 1 KO, from Kalispell, Montana, takes on Elizabeth Kerin, 3-1-1, 3 KOs, of Chicago, Illiniois, in a six round middleweight match.
In a battle of undefeated prospects, Laura Norton, 2-0, of Miami, Florida, will face Jennifer Salinas, 3-0, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, in a four round bantamweight bout.
Rounding out the show will be Daira Hill vs. Angie Poe in a six round jr. welterweight fight. One other bout is to be announced.
