DID MAURICE HARRIS TAKE A DIVE IN FLORIDA?

Ivan Dychko KO1 Maurice Harris ... At the Seminole Hard rock Casino in Hollywood, Florida, two-time Olympic medalist Ivan Dychko, originally from Kazakhstan, won with a one-punch [questionable KO] of Maurice Harris (26-22-3) of New Jersey. Dychko, who said he was hoping to learn something from the experienced Harris, landed a glancing right hook and Harris elected to look for a soft spot to land. Disappointed fans voice their disapproval of Harris’ non-effort. The time of the 10 count was 1:39. Editor's comment: Coming in to this mismatch, Harris had not fought since 2015 and had not won since 2013. His last two fights were first-round losses in 2015. Video of the fight, posted on Spikedaily.com, is not absolutely definitive but it appears to us that Harris went down for a ten count from a punch that hit his arm while his defense was up. Harris barely threw a punch in the limited action.
