KOREAN BOXING NEWS

Press Release: On Sunday December 10th, a women's 115-pound bout takes place in Seoul, South Korea when Hee-Jung Yuh fights Li Ping Shi from China. Yuh (18-3), won the IFBA 115-pound title in 2012 and the WIBF bantamweight crown in 2014. In October of 2015 she failed to add the WBO bantamweight title, losing a decision to Naoko Fukioka in Japan. Yuh has moved back down to 115 and won three straight fights.  Li Ping Shi, nicknamed “Little Rock”, is 7-1-1. This will be her first outing outside China. Only nineteen years old, Shi is only half the age of Yuh (38). Will she be too fresh for the seasoned South Korean, or will Yuh simply have too much experience to let the young prospect get in her way?
