MILLER SCORES TKO AFTER WACH INJURES HAND, SELDIN RUNS THROUGH ORTIZ
G.Leon @Ringside

Jarrell Miller TKO9 Mariusz Wach: Jarrell Miller took one step closer to a heavyweight title shot with another one-sided win over another credible contender, Mariusz Wach of Poland. After four rounds, the fight appeared to be even, but Miller took control in round five and won rounds five through nine with his superior work rate and overall skills. Wach injured his right hand during the fight, and gamely tried to power through with only his left. But he was taking hard shots abd breathing very heavily after the third round. The fight was stopped at the 0:59 mark of round nine when the ringside doctors determined that Wach could no longer continue. Miller improves to 20-0 (18), Wach falls to 33-3 (17).

Cletus Seldin TKO3 Roberto Ortiz: Junior welterweight Cletus Seldin tore through Roberto Ortiz in three one sided rounds at the NYCB Live Arena tonight. Fighting in his Long Island home, Seldin dropped Ortiz with an overhand right hand early into the fight, scored a second knockdown in round one and looked to be well on his way to a first-round stoppage, but Ortiz managed to survive the round. The punishment continued until the 2:44 mark of round three when the referee mercifully stopped the bout.

Jesse Hernandez UD8 Glenn Dezurn: Jesse Hernandez improved to 10-1 (7) with a hard fought victory over previously undefeated Glenn Dezurn. Official scores were 79-93, 77-75, 78-74. Boxingtalk scored it 77-75.
