LOPEZ-DEZURN JR FIGHT TO SPLIT DECISION DRAW
By G. Leon

Glenn Dezurn Jr D8 Adam Lopez: Adam Lopez and Glenn Dezurn Jr fought to a questionable split decision draw in an entertaining super bantamweight bout. The fight was fought in a phone booth for the most part and Lopez was able to land the harder shots to the heady and body throughout even though he was twice warned for low blows by referee Gary Ritter in the opening round. Dezurn Jr, 9-0-1 (6), clearly took the first round, but Lopez, 16-1-2 (8), seemed was in control of the action from round two on. Dezurn may have taken rounds seven and eight, which were both close, but it's tough to see Dezurn taking more than three rounds of this one. There were no knockdowns in the fight. Official scores were 77-75 Lopez, 77-75 Dezurn Jr, 76-76. Boxingtalk scored it 77-74 Lopez. Source: Shobox
