GL: Congrats on your recent victory, can you give us some thoughts on your performance? Thank you, it was easy fight for me, I saw couple of previous fights of my opponent, I know that he is patient and hard and I know that from the very beginning I should smash him by heavy punches, I had to break him psychologically first of all and I did it.
GL: When is somebody going to go the distance with you?
Shojahon Ergashev: "I dont know. (laughs) May be in Title fights? (laughs)"
GL: When can we expect you back in the ring?
SE: I am in boxing camp with Uzbekistan National team now, I will be ready to fight in the beginning of May.
GL: Do you think your man strength has arrived early, do you expect to get stronger as you get older?
SE: Will this article be published in Playboy magazine? What do you mean "man strength"? (laughs) If talk seriously, I always had dynamite in my hands, it is natural, I dont think that my age matters.
GL: What do you think about the Crawford-Felix Diaz fight?
SE: "Easy win for Crawford , no doubt about it."
GL: What about Brook vs. Spence?
SE: "Spence is a better boxer, he must win."
GL: We spoke four months ago and you said you were working on your papers to come to America. When will you make your American debut?
SE: "My promoter is promising me that I will have USA debut fight already in June, I am ready to shine."
GL: When you come to the States where do you plan to reside?
SE:" It doesn't matter for me, all I need is a good training camp , in any state."
GL: Is there another prospect out there that you feel would be a great fight for you to propel yourself to the next level?
SE: "Sergey Lipinets, Rances Barthelemy Julius Indongo, Antonio Orozco, I want to beat them all, they all are unbeaten and all can punch, I can beat them all."
GL: Since you've been getting rid of everybody early, are you concerned at all that if you're forced to go a full eight or ten rounds that your stamina might become an issue?
SE: "I am always ready to fight all distance, if it is scheduled 10 rounds I am ready to fight 15 rounds, if it is 12 rounds I am ready to fight same 15 rounds (laughs) I am training with best Russian professional boxers and best Uzbek amayeurs, with Olympic gold medalists and world title challengers, 8-10 rounds hard sparring with 2-3 "fresh" sparring partners after every 2-3 rounds of sparring, I think I am ready to fight 10-12 rounds right now if necessary.
GL: Who are some of your favorite boxers to watch?
SE: "Mike Tyson, from now day boxers Gennady Golovkin, Saul Alvarez, Denis Shafikov and Sergey Kovalev"
GL: Who is your favorite boxer of all time?
SE: "Mike Tyson"
GL: What's your favorite movie?
SE: "Rocky, all series"
GL: Is there anything you'd like to say in closing?
SE: "I can not wait to debut in America and I want to fight only against best boxers."
