GL: How has everything been going in preparation? What can we expect to see from you against Terence Crawford on May 20? Camp is going well, it's a lot of hard work. You could expect the best in me come May 20th I got a great team in Joel Diaz and Alex Ariza. GL: You've been asking for this fight for a long time, how do you feel now that you've finally gotten it? It feels great to be able to fight Crawford which is considered the best fighter in my division. Now I have to prove to the world that he is beatable .
GL: What weaknesses do you see in Crawford that you feel you'll be able to exploit?
FD: "There's mistakes Crawford makes and we will like to keep it at that."
GL: How do you plan to deal with his height and reach advantages?
FD: "I always been the shorter fighter throughout my whole career so it's nothing I having seen before."
GL: What do you consider your biggest advantage in this fight?
FD: "My Hunger and determination."
GL: Is this a do or die fight for you in terms of being considered among the elite junior welterweights in the world?
FD: "Yes of course."
GL: Do you think Crawford is overlooking you?
FD: "Of course he is overlooking me when you going around saying that he wants Pacquiao next. That only motivates me more though."
GL: Who are some of the guys you're sparring with or plan to spar with?
FD: "Tomas Dulorme, Carlos Adames, and another fighter that will like to stay anonymous because he is good friend of Crawford. I was also told that Brad Solomon and Alex Martin are coming in this week.
GL: What would a victory over Crawford mean to you?
FD: "It would be a dream come true for me."
