Tony Bellew TKO11 David Haye: WBC cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew stopped David Haye in eleven somewhat entertaining rounds at the O2 Arena in London, England. Bellew first floored Haye in round six, Haye hurt his leg during the bout but continued to fight on. In round eleven Bellew knocked him through the ropes, with Haye clearly out of it, his corner threw in the towel and the referee stopped the fight. In a fantastic show of sportsmanship, Bellew refused to immediately celebrate with his trainer and promoter, and instead checked to make sure David was fine.
Sam Eggington KO8 Paul Malignaggi: It what will likely wind up being the final fight in his fantastic career, former two division champion Paul Malignaggi was stopped by Sam Eggington in the eighth round. Malignaggi was in clear control of the fight when Eggington scored a perfectly placed body shot that sent the Brooklynite down for the count.
