HOPKINS-SHUMENOV SET FOR APRIL 19TH IN WASHINGTON D.C.

Press Release: On Saturday, April 19th, in Washington, D.C., IBF light heavyweight champion Bernard Hopkins (54-6-2) will face his WBA counterpart, Beibut Shumenov (14-1) in an attempt, at 49-years-old, to become the oldest fighter in boxing history to unify world titles. In the co-feature, WBO middleweight titlist Peter "Kid Chocolate" Quillin (30-0) defends his title for the third time when he meets Lukas Konecny (50-4) of the Czech republic.  Tickets go on sale today at 10 a.m. ET at www.ticketmaster.com
