SAUERLAND ADDS UNDEFEATED SUPER MIDDLES TO HUCK UNDERCARD
Press Release: Berlin's Tyron Zeuge will get to fight in his hometown on March 29th, when he appears in a bout supporting the WBO cruiserweight championship battle between Marco Huck and Mirko Larghetti. The venue will be the Velodrom, and Zuege's opponent will be Gheorghe Sabau of Romania. Both Zeuge and Sabau are 21 years old and both are undefeated super middleweights.
Zeuge (12-0) last fought on January 25th in Stuttgart, Germany - just minutes before Huck beat Firat Arslan in their rematch. "That was an awesome feeling to fight in front of about 10,000 people. However, I was just nervous walking to the ring," said Zeuge, who is trained by Karsten Roewer. Afterwards, he kept his cool. "I blanked out the fans in attendance as the first bell rang to be absolutely focused and it worked."
Zeuge has already discussed the style and strengths of Sabau (10-0) with his coach Roewer. "My next opponent is southpaw and has a temporizing style being a counter-puncher. In the upcoming weeks, my trainer will give me the exact strategy to be victorious against Sabau."
Promoter Kalle Sauerland has a high opinion of Zeuge: "Tyron is one of the biggest talents at super middleweight. I am proud to present his first title defense in his hometown."
Tickets are available at www.eventim.de. All previously purchased tickets for the boxing event at the Velodrom Berlin on March 29 remain valid.
