J-ROCKED: CENTENO PUNKS OUT OF WILLIAMS FIGHT
By G. Leon

Charlo and Spence score stoppages, De La Hoya wins pro debut

Julian Williams NC Hugo Centeno: In a match-up of unbeaten light middleweights, Julian Williams dominated the first three rounds, but Hugo Centeno Jr. managed to find a way out of his first pro loss. One minute into the fourth round, an accidental clash of heads opened up a cut on the left side of Centeno's face. Though the cut didn't appear to impair his vision, Centeno said he could not continue so the bout went down as a no contest. Williams is trained by Boxingtalk's Stephen Edwards.

Other results: Jermell Charlo improved to 16-0 with a seventh-round stoppage over the game but overmatched Rogelio De La Torre. Official time of stoppage was 1:50... Diego De La Hoya successfully made his professional debut scoring a third round stoppage over Luis Cosme.
