Press Release: The next opponent for Denmark's Patrick Nielsen (18-0, 8 KOs) will be Crispulo Javier Andino (16-5-1, 7 KOs) from Argentina. The 24-year-old southpaw has been confirmed to fight Nielsen at middleweight at NRGi Arena in Aarhus on June 15th. The fight is Aarhus will be Nielsen's first since he added American trainer Joey Gamache to his coaching staff. “It's great to work out with him in Copenhagen,” Nielsen said. “We're having a good, yet very exhausting time. I don´t care what Andino says he will do or why he thinks he will win. All I know is that I will please the crowd in Aarhus and give them a great fight.”

Andino is confident ahead of his trip to Denmark. “Nielsen was knocked down by (my countryman Gaston) Vega (last year),” he said. “He will be knocked down again on June 15th but I will not give him the chance to recover.”  Andino is convinced he will be the last man standing in what could be a give-and-take battle between two southpaws. “My punching power will make the difference,” he said. “It’s always complicated for everybody to face a fellow southpaw. We are used to fight against orthodox boxers. But it will be worse for Patrick than for me because I have more power.“
Said promoter Nisse Sauerland: “This is a tricky fight for Patrick against a fellow southpaw. We got him some very good sparring, highly-rated Irishman Andy Lee has been over in Copenhagen this week. I am sure Patrick will do everything in his power to get his cooperation with Joey off to a successful start.”
Tickets for the Nordic Fight Night are available at Reda Zam Zam, Torben Keller, Dennis Ceylan, Erik Skoglund and Otto Wallin will also be in action. More fights will be announced shortly.
