MUSHROOM SALESMAN VIES FOR PENNSYLVANIA TITLE
Press Release: This Friday night, Kennett Square, Pennsylvania native Anthony Caputo Smith (13-1, 10 KOs) has a big opportunity to advance his career when he takes on Dhafir Smith for the Pennsylvania State light heavyweight title at Harrahs Philadelphia. That bout will headline a nine bout card promoted by Joey Eye Boxing Promotions and David Feldman. The twenty-seven year old Caputo Smith sees this not only a chance to capture his first belt but a gateway to the future. “I want to win this title because it will open up great opportunities for me,” he said. But he will have to do it against the battle-tested Dhafir Smith (26-23-7, 4 KOs), who has been in with many top boxers and even has a win over former IBF champion Jeff Lacy.
“Dhafir is a great fighter and it should be a heck of a fight. I have seen him fight on Youtube and I am ready for the fight.” Despite having a modest 9-5 amateur career, his never-quit attitude has propelled to the 13-1 professional mark. Smith owns a business called Caputo and Guest Mushrooms which grows and sells Mushrooms.
