SPADAFORA-FRANKEL ON GFLTV TONIGHT

Press Release: Tonight, live on GFL.tv from West Virginia, Paul "The Pittsburgh Kid" Spadafora (47-0-1) continues his comeback from oblivion to face upset specialist Robert "Red Hot" Frankel.  In recent years Paul has faced and overcome many uphill battles such as prison time, alcoholism & drug abuse but none of which has kept this former lightweight titleholder down for the count.

Since defeating betting favorite Israel Cordona for the vacant IBF lightweight title in 1999, Spadafora's life was the equivalent to a roller coaster ride.  He went from defending his world title on HBO to doing a stretch in prison after shooting his girlfriend. Before being sentenced to 21-60 months in prison he was arrested twice more for drug and alcohol related charges.

Spadafora's career, howerver, rose from the ashes after yet another rehab stint.  He switched management and realigned with his old trainer Tom Yankello.  He also signed to Roy Jones Jr.'s TNT Promotions where he has been staying busy in the ring.  In 2012, Spadafora defeated Humberto Toledo (47-7-2) and Solomon Egberime (23-2-1).

A decisive victory over the rugged Frankel could position Spadafora for the big fight he has been craving.  With Roy Jones Jr behind him, Paul feels like he could soon be facing fighters like Rios, Alvadrado, Broner & Garcia in the BIG fights he so desperately craves.

Denver, CO's "Red Hot" Robert Frankel is not easy picking for the former champion.  Frankel has one 4 of his last 5 fights, only losing to #1 contender Cleotis Pendarvis.  Frankel is known throughout the boxing community as a tough and rugged fighter with TONS of heart.  The upset specialist believes a win here will lead to bigger and better things but to reach the promised land "David must slay Goliath" so to speak.

Tonight these two men will enter the ring but only ONE will continue towards the path that ends in GLORY.  Don't miss a moment of this epic showdown LIVE WORLDWIDE tonight on GFL.tv!!

Also on the card,  smoking hot undefeated prospect Wilkins Santiago (7-0) will look to make a statement against tough journeyman Mustafah Johnson (9-16-1).  Wilkins who missed a huge part of his career due to time spent in prison, is looking to make up for lost time and impress promoter Roy Jones Jr.  Will Johnson be able to disrupt the young lion's progress or will he just be added to Wilkins' resume.

Also on the card Bill Hutchinson will be squaring off with Damon Antoine, Joey Holt will battle Austin Marcum, Ed Latimore will take on Austim Marcum, and rounding out the card with be Travis Clark vs Martez Williamson.  Don't miss the action from West Virginia tonight!  Make sure to watch on GFL.tv.
