SATURDAY FEATURES SHOWTIME CARD IN VEGAS

Press Release: This Saturday, March 2nd, Showtime will broadcast Richar Abril against Sharif “The Lion” Bogere from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.  The previously scheduled main event between WBC featherweight champion Daniel Ponce De Leon and Jayson Velez was scratched after a right ankle fractured was suffered by Velez.  At stake in the Abril-Bogere contest will be the vacant WBA lightweight title. Opening the telecast will be unbeaten featherweight Gary Russell Jr. against Russia’s Vyacheslav Gusev in a ten-round bout.
