THIS WEEK'S ESPN2 CO-FEATURE ANNOUNCED

Press Release: Star Boxing has announced the co-feature for this week's ESPN2 Friday Night Fights event at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut: Mongolia's Bayan Jargal faces Tennessee's Chris Howard, which will lead in to the main event,  Delvin Rodriguez in a ten-round welterweight clash against Native American George "Comanche Boy" Tahdooahnippah. A native of Ulan Bator, Mongolia, now fighting out of Alexandria, Virginia, Jargal (17-3-3 with 11 KOs), carries a reputation as an aggressive fan favorite. Fighting twice in 2012, Jargal is returning to action following a first-round knockout of [well-spent] former featherweight titlist Eric Aiken in November.   A pro for five years, the 24-year-old Howard, 14-2-1 (6KO's), has most recently faced tough competition hitting the road in 2012 from his native Crossville, Tennessee.  Howard comes off a ten-round split decision loss to undefeated hometown prospect Mark Salser on August 18th in West Salem, Ohio.
