Keenan Collins TKO8 George Rivera ...Saturday night in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Keenan Collins (15-7-3) scored a stoppage in the eighth and final round over George Rivera (13-8-1) in a rematch of a draw that took place ten months earlier. Rivera jumped out to an early lead by boxing well over the first four rounds. Collins came back and landed some hard shots that started to wear down Rivera. In round eight, Collins dropped Rivera twice that led to the stoppage.
Aaron Kinch W6 William Miranda... On the same show, heavyweight Aaron Kinch (5-1) scored a six-round decision win over William Miranda (6-6). The two waged an action-packed fight with both landing power shots. Kinch who landed the more significant blows and opened a nasty cut over the right eye of Miranda that also caused facial swelling. Miranda took some great shots and continued to press the action, but Kinch won by scores 60-54 on all three official cards.
UNDERCARD... . Junior middleweight John Thompson (11-0) scored a technical knokcout win at the end of round five over Grayson Blake (5-2). Thompson worked a quick jab that carved up the nose and face of Blake for much of the fight. Thompson would occasionally mix in scoring rights as Blake would come in... Frankie De Alba took all six rounds from Isaac Suarez in a lightweight bout. The southpaw from Reading, PA landed some solid power punches that backed Suarez up and De Alba was in control for most of the fight... Mark Rideout of Philadelphia remained undefeated in his third pro bout with a four-round split decision over Eric Newell in a heavyweight bout. There was not much sustained action in this bout which featured a lot of fighting on the inside. Scores were 39-37 on two cards for Rideout, while Newell grabbed a third card at 39-37... In the show's opener, Sammy Quinones got his first victory in style as he scored a third round stoppage over Charles Mack in a scheduled four round junior welterweight bout. source for all results: Kings Boxing Promotions
