GL: Congrats on your seventh-round stoppage of Jeremiah Wiggins this weekend in Las Vegas. Can you give us some thoughts on your performance?

Julian Williams: "To be honest with you, I don't know how well I did because I didn't see it. But if I had to grade it off how I feel, I give myself a B-. I could have used my jab a bit more and fought more on the inside, but like I said overall I give myself a B-."

GL: Do you have any idea when your next fight might take place?

Julian Williams: "I don't know that's something you're going to have to talk to Breadman about. It's all up to him and Team Haymon." Editor's note: Williams is trained by Boxingtalk's Stephen "Breadman" Edwards.

GL: Do you feel like you've been improving on a fight-by-fight basis?

JW: "Oh yeah, I think I'm developing and improving a lot."

GL: How does Wiggins rate compared to your recent opposition?

JW: "He's pretty decent. He's up there. He had plenty of heart in there. After the fight the dude said that he felt like he wanted to die in there, so I can respect that."

GL: Are you surprised he lasted so long?

JW: "I'm not surprised, but I thought he should have been stopped earlier. I think the referee cut him a little break early, but like I said I got to see the fight again on TV."

GL: Your last three fights have come against guys 10-1-1, 8-2 and 7-1 is that right up your alley?

JW: "No doubt about it. Let me tell you something though, I might fight a guy who is 10-10 that has fought ten other prospects and he's been learning from those 10 ass whippings, sometimes that guy is harder to fight than the guy with one loss who hadn't really fought anybody. I don't go by the record, I go by the man."

GL: Does that mean that Eberto Medina was tougher than some of these guys you've been fighting lately?

JW: "Eberto Medina is a f**king animal. After he fought me he upset some kid who was 9-0. Prospects need to leave him alone. That kid can really fight man."

GL: When would you like to fight again?

JW: "As soon as possible. I'm already back in the gym and I'm going to start running again as soon as this weather gets a tad bit better, because it's terrible out here right now."

GL: Closing thoughts?

JW: "Keep me in the back of y'all minds. Follow me on twitter @jrocboxing and on instagram at jwilliams22."
