CHAMPIONSHIP TRIPLEHEADER BOOKED FOR TOKYO

According to the WBC, leading Japanese promoter Teiken Boxing Gym and Akihiko Honda are planning a huge triple header on April 8th in Tokyo.On the show, Gamaliel Diaz will defend his WBC 130-pound title against Japanese Takashi Miura; WBC bantamweight champion Shinsuke Yamanaka will face Philippine Malcom Tunacao and WBC flyweight champion Toshiyuki Igarashi will put his title on the line against Akira Yaegashi, a former WBA 108-pound titlist. --Scott Shaffer
