JOE GREENE FIGHTS IN QUEENS, NY NEXT WEEK

Press Release: Welterweight Joe Greene will headline a Queens, New York show on Thursday January 10th at the Cordon Bleu (in the Woodhaven section of Queens). Greene, of the nearby Jamaica section of Queens, will take on Calvin Odom in the eight-round main event. Greene (24-1 with 16 KOs) won his first twenty-two bouts before dropping a close decision to former U.S. Olympian Vanes Martirosyan. Since that defeat, Greene has two victories. Odom of Inglewood, California (15-12 with 11 KOs) has wins over Jose Luis Zertuche, Glenn Corbus, Roberto Garcia and Luciano Perez, but is coming off a eight-round loss to undefeated Tony Harrison.
