BATTLE OF UNDEFEATED HEAVYWEIGHTS COMING TO ALBANY, NY

Press Release: Star Boxing announced a main event matching two undefeated heavyweights for Friday, December 14th at the Times Union Center in Albany, NY. Joe Hanks faces Fred Allen in a bout originally set for October 27th but moved to December 14th after Allen was involved in a recent motorcycle accident and suffered a few minor scrapes. Hanks of Newark, New Jersey, sports a record of 20-0 with 14 KOs. In his first appearance in Albany in February, the 29-year-old Hanks stopped Cuban contender Rafael Pedro in the second round. Hanks followed up the knockout of Pedro by halting veteran Marcus Rhode in the first round in April. Fighting out of Texas City, Texas, the 25-year-old Allen has compiled a record of 14-0-1 with 6 KOs as a pro.
