DENTON DALEY IMPORTS MAURO ORDIALES FOR ONTARIO MAIN EVENT
Press Release: After cruiserweight “Dangerous” Denton Daley (7-0, 4 KO’s) defeated Jason Douglas this past September in four rounds, he was looking forward to getting a crack at either Canadian Cruiserweight champ Ryan Henney or Chris Norrad on December 1st at the Hershey Centre in Mississauga, Ontario. Daley says both men refused to answer his challenge, so Daley will instead face Mauro Ordiales (28-10, 26 KOs) of Argentina. Ordiales is the type of fighter that really motivates me, and forces me to be at my best,” Denton said of the rock-fisted Argentine. “If I was fighting Henney or Norrad, I’d know exactly what to expect, and quite frankly, there’d be nothing to worry about. But a guy like Ordiales can end a fight anytime with one punch. You combine his power, with my hand speed, accuracy, and combinations, and it’s a lock that this fight isn’t going the distance.” Tickets for Daley vs. Ordiales are available at the Hershey Centre box office.
