PUERTO RICO SNAGS NEXT WEEK'S SOLO BOXEO

Press Release:  On Saturday, October 13th in Juncos,  Puerto Rico, John Nater of Bayamon will attempt to stop the rise of Jeffrey Fontanez in the eight-round lightweight main event of TeleFutura's Sólo Boxeo series. In the eight-round co-feature, Carolina, Puerto Rico's undefeated Braulio Santos battles Colombian John Alberto Molina. Tickets are available for purchase at all Ticketcenter locations or by phone at (787) 792-5000. Fontanez (8-0 with 7 KOs) isn't much for slow starts in the ring. The winner of six fights by first round knockout, including an exciting finish of Pedro Hernandez in his last fight in June, the 20-year-old always comes ready to fight from the  time the first bell rings. The 21-year old Nater (11-3 with 8 KOs) bounced back from losses  to unbeatens Brandon Bennett and Juan Carlos Abreu earlier this year with September wins over Franklin Frias and Ambiorix Ciriaco that came just four days apart. The 22-year-old Braulio Santos (7-0 with 6 KOs) enjoys going home early and he's willing to put the  work in to make that desire a reality. Opposing Santos will be 35-year-old John Alberto Molina (32-20-3 with 20 KOs) is a hard-nosed competitor who has won four of his last six fights.
