JETER PROMOTIONS BRINGS BOXING BACK TO BALTIMORE-WASHINGTON AREA

Press Release: Middleweight Tony “Mo’ Betta” Jeter and his wife Christen will host the inaugural show under their newly formed Jeter Promotions banner this Saturday, September 22nd. The card will take place at Club One Fitness in Millersville, Md., and will feature boxers from the Baltimore-Washington, D.C., region.

The main event of the evening will feature Jeter himself (13-3-1 with 9 KOs) against Tyrel Brown (7-2 with 7 KOs) of Gibson, Oklahoma over eight middleweight rounds.

Also on the show,  welterweight James “Keep‘em Sleepin” Stevenson (15-0 with 10 KOs), of Baltimore, will be in action for the first time in a year, taking on Dontre King (6-12-2 2 KOs) of Cambridge, Md., in a six rounder. King’s 20 previous opponents only have total of eight losses collectively and he should provide a good test for Stevenson in his first fight back. Heavyweight Duane Mobley (4-0 3), of Upper Marlboro, Md., will take on Lynchburg, Va.’s Dave Fleming (2-1) in a six-round bout. For ticket information, call Club One Fitness at 410-729-3900.

On the undercard, the “The Golden Greek” Elias Bouloubassis (7-0-5), who sports a unique but undefeated record, will be looking for the first knockout win of his career against West Virginia's Stephen Franklin (0-7) in a six-round middleweight matchup. In a four-round lightweight matchup, Josh Davis (2-0) will take on Jamal Davis, making his pro debut, in a four-round affair Rounding out the six-fight card will be Dan Cannaday (1-0) against Issa Coulibaly (0-2), looking for his first win after being losing a disputed decision last time out. The bout is scheduled for four rounds in the middleweight division.
