MAYWEATHER RELEASED FROM JAIL

According to numerous media sources, Floyd Mayweather, Jr. was released from a Nevada prison this morning, where he was doing time for a domestic assault. Waiting for Mayweather was rapper Fifty Cent, who is expected to become Mayweather's new promoter. Also on hand to take Mayweather home were his long time associates Leonard Ellerbe and Sam Watson. Although his attorneys claimed weeks ago that Mayweather was wasting away in prison, Mayweather showed no obvious ill effects from his two months behind bars.--Scott Shaffer
