ADAMEK DEFEATS ONE-ARMED CHAMBERS

The Main Events-promoted show at Newark New Jersey's Prudential Center opened up with Tureano Johnson defeating Roberto Yong in a six-round welterweight bout. Johnson (9-0) won all three scorecards by scores of 58-56. Yong drops to 5-5-1... In a heavyweight battle, Patrick Farrell dropped Dontre King and went on to win by scores of 40-35 (twice) and 39-36. Farrell improves to 7-1-1, while King falls to 6-11-2.
