JC CANDELO ACTIVE IN MEXICO THIS WEEKEND

Press Release: On Saturday, June 16th, Carlos Cuadras (24-0) battles Javier Franco (16-7-1) in an all-Mexican twelve-round bantamweight bout and, in a ten-round middleweight co-feature, Mexico's Gilberto Ramirez takes on Colombia's J.C. Candelo. The Televisa broadcast of these fights from Mexico will air the next day on Fox Deportes at 10:00 p.m. ET/7:00 p.m. PT. The 23-year-old Cuadras won gold for Mexico at the 2007 Pan Am Games. Just 20 years old, the southpaw Ramirez is already 21-0, but will be lacking in experience compared to Candelo (32-11-4), the winner of five of his last six bouts.
