RICO RAMOS BACK ON JUNE 23RD

Press Release: Boxing is back in the San Fernando Valley at the Sportsmen's Lodge in Studio City, Calif.  The Lodge hosted its first boxing event in 1970.  The last boxing events held there in the 90's were promoted by Dan Goossen. Now, 14 years since the last boxing show there, Goossen Tutor Promotions is now looking to create a series of boxing events held every two months. The inaugural event is being held on Saturday June 23rd, when former WBA 122-pound titlist Rico Ramos (20-1, 11 KOs) of Watts, Calif. laces up the gloves against the Efrain Esquivias (16-0, 9 KOs), who hails from Gardena, Calif. The show also features a battle between two young super flyweights in Matthew Villanueva (7-0-1, 7 KOs) of Burbank, Calif. against Bruno Escalante (5-0-1, 3 KOs) from Cebu, Phil.  The event will be broadcast on TeleFutura.
