Patrick Hyland TKO4 Franke Archuleta... In the main event of Team Snooki Boxing and Final Round Promtions' In the main event of Team Snooki Boxing and Final Round Promtions' show in Poughkeepsie, New York over the weekend, Ireland's Patrick Hyland needed just four rounds to dispatch of an overmatched Frankie Archuleta. The 28 year-old Hyland improved to 26-0 with 12 KOs and appeared ready for improved competition at either 130 or 126 pounds. Hyland started out by using his jab effectively and ripped Archuleta's body. Toward the end of the first round, Hyland landed a right to the side of Archuleta's head that dropped him to a knee. The second round saw much of the same as Hyland was in complete control. Hyland hurt Archuleta with a looping right hand just before the bell. In the third round, Hyland continued to mix it up well as he went to Archuleta's body and head . He landed a hard left hook on Archuleta's ear that once again dropped him to a knee. As the fourth round began, Archuleta was in survival mode. Hyland stepped on the gas and hurt Archuleta badly with an overhand right. With his opponent against the ropes, Hyland unleashed a barrage of unanswered punches forcing the stoppage. Regardless of the level of opposition, Hyland appeared ready for the big time. "I'm a contender at 26-0, fighting here in the United States I'm ready for anyone at 126 lbs." Hyland could also use some exposure on American television with an ESPN2 or Showbox level fight. Archuleta, who dropped to 27-10, offered very little resistance and should consider calling it a career.
