O'CONNOR TO FACE SOSTRE... Junior welterweight Danny O'Connor (16-1) is preparing for his homecoming match with trainer Ronnie Shields in Houston, Texas.  On May 24th, O'Connor will headline the first professional boxing card at the Boston House of Blues against Daniel Sostre (11-5-1) of New York in a ten-round contest.

FOUR BOUTS ADDED TO PROVIDENCE UNDERCARD... The undercard for the Twin River Casino show on Thursday, May 24th in Providence, Rhode Island is taking shape. The co-feature is a six-round super middleweight bout between home staters Richard Starnino (9-7-2) and Keith Kozlin (6-3-1), looking to end a stretch of three fights without a win. Also on the bill is former reality television star Richard Gingras (11-2) of “The Contender,” who battles Terrance Smith Jr. (7-13-2) of Oklahoma City in a six-round cruiserweight attraction. Vermont super middleweight Kevin Cobbs (3-0) faces Borngod Washington (3-10) and female bantamweight Shelito Vincent (2-0) battles newcomer Carmen Cruz in a pair of four rounders.  The main event matches Joey Spina and Vladine Biosse.
