SALITA TAPPED TO APPEAR ON CARSON DALY SHOW

As he prepares to challenge for Amir Khan's WBA junior welterweight championship, undefeated Dmitriy Salita will appear on Last Call with Carson Daly on the night of November 18th (which is technically 1:35am on November 19th). According to Christina Starzak of NBC Universal, on the talk show appearance, "we are basically telling his story, an up-and-coming boxer fighting for a title who is also an Orthodox Jew. We hope to highlight his unique story which retells the classic American dream of rags to riches." Salita, who fights Khan in England on November 5th, might not agree that he has acheived "riches" just yet, but his story has already inspired a full-length documentary entitled "Orthodox Stance."
