Felix Verdejo W10 Manuel Rey Rojas... At Verona, New York's Turning Stone Casino, Puerto Rican lightweight Felix Verdejo turned in an unspectacular but clearly winning performance against Manuel-Rey Rojas of Texas. Verdejo, a former Olympian once touted as a can't-miss future champion, improved to 26-1 but still has work to do before it can be belt season for him. He won easily, getting the wide unanimous decision by scores of 99-91, 97-93 and 98-92. By way of comparison, Rojas (18-4) was stopped by junior lightweight Andy Vences in 2015. Rojas had one significant win since then, vs. Wang Zhimin. Punchstats clearly favored, Verdejo 164 punches to 100. Verdejo gave himself a C grade afterwards. source: espn
