Two upsets on Top Rank's Philadelphia undercard

Juan Ruiz TKO4 Frederick Lawson... In an upset in Philadelphia, Juan Ruiz (22-4, 14 KOs) scored a fourth-round stoppage over longtime welterweight contender Fredrick Lawson (27-2, 21 KOs). Ruiz had lost four out of his last five comingin, but was too much for Lawson. Ruiz knocked Lawson down once and ended matters with a follow-up flurry.
 
Jose Lopez TKO6 Askhat Ualikhanov...Jose “Chino” Lopez made quite the statement, forcing fellow 140-pounder Askhat Ualikhanov to retire on his stool following the sixth round. Lopez (12-1, 10 KOs), coming off a KO loss to Carlos Winston Velasquez (who has 33 losses!), reignited his career. Ualikhanov (4-2, 2 KOs) saw his four-fight winning streak come to an end.
