Jose Valenzuela vs. Deiner Berrio (lightweights)… Prediction: Valenzuela by decision

Unbeaten lightweight Jose Valenzuela takes on battle-tested Deiner Berrio in a ten-round lightweight bout. Valenzuela is coming off a fourth-round knockout victory over Dontae Strayhorn, whilst Berrio is coming off a unanimous decision defeat against Juan Pablo Romero. I believe that Valenzuela will come forward as well as counter at mid-range, whereas Berrio will attempt to come forward and counter off the back foot but with little to no success. I ultimately see this fight going the distance with Valenzuela winning by unanimous decision. I can envision scores of 99-91 and 98-92. 

 

Martin Bakole vs. Haruna Osumanu (heavyweights)… Prediction: Bakole by early knockout

Hard-hitting, 282-pound heavyweight Martin Bakole takes on aging Haruna Osumanu in a ten-round contest. Bakole is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Sergey Kuzmin, whilst Osumanu is coming off a sixth-round knockout loss to Ebenezer Tetteh. I believe that Bakole will come forward and walk down Osumano, whereas Osumanu will attempt to trade with Bakole until he gets stopped from rounds one to round six.
