Hughie Fury TKO7 Sam Peter ... In a bizarre ending to a routine heavyweight bout, Hughie Fury got a seventh-round technical knockout win over Sam Peter in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.  The bout ended when Peter injured his left shoulder. Although Peter was in obvious pain, the injury could not be pinpointed and Peter grabbed his left shoulder after throwing a hard but errant right. Prior to that, Fury had moved well around the large ring avoiding the lumbering Peter's punches. Though Fury was the deserved winner, it was hardly a satisfying or impressive performance. At age 38, Peter, a former WBC titlist, is no longer a real challenge for any contender. His career mark is now 38-8. Fury is now 23-2 with two straight wins since a loss to Kubrat Pulev. He's only 24 years old, but based on this performance, it's time for Fury to step up his competition level to someoen more competitive. source: super boxing league facebook page
