Lee Baxter Promotions has announced a night of boxing on July 21st at Rebel Entertainment Complex in Toronto. The show will be headlined by a Canadian light heavyweight championship bout between Nick Fantauzzi (11-0, 5 KOs) against Greg Weeks (3-2, 3 KOs). Fantauzzi’s last fight saw him dominate Darren Fletcher in March. Since then, Fantauzzi's been hard at work, training at the new Hardknocks Boxing Club location under Billy Martin. [Weeks is coming off a four-round decision loss to Petar Gavrilovic (3-0)].

 

Baxter said, “Nick is proven time after time that he keeps fans on the edge of their seats all night, he deserves to headline a show and what better way than to fight for the Canadian title” 

 

Deep into his training camp, a focused Fantauzzi said “I can’t wait to headline at Rebel on July 21st for the Canadian title. I’m excited to make a statement and get the win in front of my fans.”

 

Also scheduled to appear on the show are: super middleweight Steve Rolls (21-2); Canadian female 122-pound champion Amanda Galle (6-0); former Canadian National Team member James Hughes in his pro debut; and Josh Lupia (5-0), who makes his return to the ring after a tragic incident that nearly cost him his leg.
