The title was vacated by undisputed world champion Terence Crawford who retired after dethroning Saul "Canelo" Alvarez last year. In round three, a hook hurt Bagic, and Sheeraz went from there with one heavy shot after another. One more blow to the body sent Bagic crumbling, and he couldn't get up.
