Kenya Enriquez W10 Chaoz Minowa... Tijuana, Mexico's Kenya Enriquez (23-1, 9 KOs) defended WBC interim 105-pound title, defeating Chaoz Minowa of Japan by a wide unanimous decision. There were over 5000 fans present in the Tamazula Convention Center, Jalisco.  From the beginning of the fight both fighters went out to throw their best combinations, but it was the Mexican who connected the most solid blows, which the Asian could not be removed in the rest of the fight. Minowa is now 6-3 with 5 KOs, but there are so few woemn boxing in these light divisions, she will continue to get opportunities despite only six pro wins. In the fifth round, Enriquez threw a perfect straight right which sent her opponent into, causing the referee to issue a count. In round ten, an Enriquez combination caused Minowa to visit the canvas\. All told, Enriquez beat her opponent round after, leading to three scores of 100-88. source: wbc
