From the looks of things, Alex Ovechkin, one of the greatest hockey players of all time, would have made a helluva cruiserweight. Earlier this week, Ovechkin, who plays for the Washington Capitals, got into a fight with young Andrei Svechnikov of the Carolina Hurricanes. Both men wore helments with visors during the fight, but that did not stop Ovechkin from knocking Svechnikov out with three or four quick right hands. Svechnikov was "rag dolled" as they say in hockey. He was helped off the ice and did not return to the game. He is being evaluated for a concussion under NHL protocol.
